Ikaho sushi in Groveland

Nice variety of roles and the Bento Box is large so be hungry if that is what you are looking for.

I've gone on several lunches with friends to Ikaho, and gotten dinner with family, and gotten take out, and every single time it's been excellent. This is my favorite Sushi in Lake County, especially because of how large the selection is. The restaurant is clean and pretty, the service is excellent and it's cheaper than Fancy Sushi. I have never had a bad experience here and I will take this over any other asian food in the area without question, whether I'm getting sushi or teriyaki.

The price for the quality wasn't there for me.... Sorry;(

We are regulars here and we love it. The food is PLENTIFUL, always fresh, and they go over and beyond to satisfy us. We love the family atmosphere and personal service we receive here. They treat my family like VIP.

Great food and family owned local restaurant. The service is always friendly and the atmosphere is really nice.one of the nicer sushi places in the area. And the nicest if we are talking dollar for dollar in my opinion.This is a fast place for food, but most sushi places aren't. So if you're not in a hurry and wanting some great sushi give them a shot. P.s. wait till you see the presentation of the Volcano Roll.

Suahi was delicious and beautifully made. Staff was incredibly friendly, and the specialty rolls are not to be missed! Restaurant is clean and cozy. Highly recommend - it's worth going out of your way!

I love dining at Ikaho. The sushi is top quality and ALWAYS served fresh. I went tonight at 9:50pm to pickup two rolls of sushi and they closed at 10:00pm. I called to order thinking they closed at 10:30pm they didn’t even hesitate to make my order and it was delicious! Absolutely wonderful service and food!

On May 11, 2019 (Saturday) at 10 pm, my boyfriend and I decided to go out for a quick dinner locally by our community... We haven’t ate all day and we’re really looking forward to having some hibachi.. We came across Ikaho’s menu and decided to check it out... The on-site images looked pretty attractive... We get to our destination and the FIRST thing see is all the employees having a EMPLOYEE DINNER!! While they were eating, there was tables that haven’t been bussed! Anyways, the SECOND thing was the lady approached me to take my order & SHE HAD A MOUTH FULL OF FOOD! CHEWING her food while she was TALKING TO ME!! I started to place my order for to-go & that’s when my boyfriend cut me off and said LET’S GO. When we got in the car, he mentioned that one of the BACK OF THE HOUSE EMPLOYEES was blowing his NOSTRILS INTO THE KITCHEN SINK & he continued to WASH HIS FACE in the sink that they use to Prep food items!! DISGUSTING! So UNPROFESSIONAL & definitely a HEALTH AND SAFETY HAZARD!!

One word can easily describe this place. PERFECT. The 5-star ratings are no joke. It is amazing. The restaurant was partially empty for our visit, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The food was brought to our table rather quickly. Every food item we ordered was great in both quality and quantity. You will not be disappointed. My wife and I cannot wait to return back and enjoy another visit.

This was a really good place to eat sushi. The waiter was sooo nice and the food was really good and for a good price. They asked if it was our first time and it was. They were so nice they gave us a bowl of edemame to share because of our first time. I hope to go back when I am in the area and to get food from then on my wedding day.

Really good sushi..we got our sushi really fast too. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because we couldn't get anyone to bring our check for at least 20 min after we were ready to leave. We had to flag someone down. But everything else was great.

Great sushi is possible in Groveland. We were passing through and found this place, so glad we stopped. All the rolls we ordered were excellent. Had a wonderful time, the people working there were very pleasant to us, our server Will took great care, the owner even came by and checked in on us to see if we were enjoying our dinner. We love finding places like this were they care about the food and their customers. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

I really like this sushi restsurant because the sushi quality is good, the staff is friendly and attentive and the prices are good. The interior is spacious, but cozy, yet not too loud. In other words its easy to have a conversation without having to speak loudly or have to hear other guestsconversations. There are booths and tables and the interior is clean. There is plenty of parking and the parking lot is well lit. I will go back again to try one, or two of the many rolls available.

This was our first time to Ikaho and there will be many more. It is a casual family restaurant, the staff was very friendly and did a good job. The noodles and hibachi vegetables tasted great. The sushi was outstanding, I had the Heisenberg Roll and would highly recommend it. If you're in Lake County you're missing out if you haven't eaten here yet!

This place is THE BEST sushi ever!! The very few bad reviews on here, do not believe them. I have eaten at many sushi places across Florida and I've never found anything that comes close to IKAHO! I love all of their rolls and my kids love the hibachi. Everything is fresh and we've never been disappointed -in over 200 visits I'm sure. The staff is always there working hard to make sure your visit is the best. The restaurant is always clean.

Super impressed! Every roll of sushi I ordered was delicious. Don't even need extra sauce. Leo and Mindy were super friendly and made our dining experience pleasant. Can't go wrong picking this place.

Happy to find tasty, fresh sushi right here in Groveland! We got this giant "Love Boat" for a special occasion and it made for an excellent sushi, sashimi and roll sampler. Charming presentation and good service. Will be back, will bring friends.

Best sushi in Lake County hands down. Tommy is fantastic and engages with each customer. No matter what we have ordered from the menu (and I'd venture to say we've tried it all) it's all delicious!!! The sushi, ugh we love it we must order sushi from here at least once a week and it is always perfect! If you're in Groveland or nearby this is a must visit!

I have seen this place for several years and never went in. I was like “sushi in Groveland? Seriously?” Finally my daughter and her boyfriend convinced me to go in. I’m going to tell you I’ve traveled all over the world and lived in Japan for 5 years and this place is the absolute best. Amazing. If you love sushi as I do this place is a must go.

Today was the third time I have ordered here. Today was not a good experience. I called and placed the order and when I picked it up and got back to my car I was missing a salad(which is included). I go back to the restaurant to ask for the salad and as I'm exiting my wife calls me to say they didn't swap the soups as she requested when she placed the order. I was already headed back to the car, so we didn't bother changing it or eating it for that matter. Also this time the shrimp tempura sushi was soggy. Not sure what happened today with the service and order taker. All was off today. Advice..double check your orders before leaving.

I heard all these good reviews on this place so I ordered hibachi vegetables and hibachi chicken and if it wasn't for the yum sauce it would of been gross . It was clearly just boiled not seared and was in some kind of broth in the containers . I've never gotten hibachi before that was in liquid . Weird. If I ever get food from here again it will be only sushi beings all the reviews were about best sushi. Fiance had the hibachi chicken and it was tasted like water because it was boiled. Noodles were good . Rice was weird. I wanted good hibachi so bad but this was only place around open.

Went in for carry out , got home to the wrong order. I called to the lady to who took our order. She claimed we order that when I clearly got someone else’s order. Extremely disappointed

Disgusting manners ! Don’t throw people their orders and ask if the soup fell over and don’t apologize.. they just lost my business 🤬

Very good sushi close to home. Make sure you try the chicken tempura and for those Breaking Bad fans like myself the Heisenberg, simply amazing and very flavorful. Service was pretty good too. Will be back very soon.
